Companions of the Hollow Knight (Balin’s World)

A prince recovering from a very bad experience (he was a frog for a while) sets out to make things right with a princess who mistakenly believes she caused his problems. Her castle is the second one on his route. First, he has a stop to make in another kingdom. Its ruler holds funds owed to the world’s oldest wizard for solving a serious dragon problem. The prince offered to pick them up for the wizard, who is a friend.

He is accompanied on his quest by Sir David, a hollow knight who started out in near-life as a clock, and by a boy who has much to figure out about lots of things. They are soon joined by a will o’the wisp who gives the hollow knight an upgrade.

Other characters encountered along the way include royalty, an eccentric inventor, a girl who wants to be a witch, a talking black bird, and a man who lost an eye but gained the ability to see the future.
